Une laine terracotta dense et bouclée, nouée main

Le tapis est 100 % laine de mouton sur toute la surface où l'on marche. Un peu de coton, dans les fils de base, sert juste à le rendre solide. On voit les nœuds au dos, car aucune toile n'y est collée. Le poil moyen, dense et bouclé, garde les lignes écrues bien nettes, même dans l'arche. Longues franges écrues : des deux côtés, d'un seul ou sans, sans supplément. Chaque tapis garde de légères variations, et c'est ce qui le rend unique.

  • Noué à la main au Maroc : les lignes écrues sont nouées à la main, avec soin, sur plusieurs semaines.

The essential answers before ordering your Berber rug

How do I order a rug in my own dimensions?

Enter the width and length you want, to the centimetre, in the configurator. The price appears instantly: it depends on the surface area of your rug. If your dimensions match a standard size, its exact price applies. Your rug is then knotted to your exact dimensions.

Can I choose the fringes?

Yes, at no extra cost: fringes on both ends, on one end or no fringes. You make this choice when ordering, just below the dimensions.

Will my rug look exactly like the photo?

Each piece is knotted by hand, so it is unique: patterns and density may vary slightly from the photo. These small irregularities are the signature of handwork.

How long does delivery take?

Your rug is made after you order and delivered within 3 weeks. Delivery is free and a tracking link is emailed to you when the parcel leaves.

Can I return a made-to-measure rug?

Yes. As across the whole site, you have 30 days after delivery to return your rug, even when made to your dimensions. Returns are free.

How do I care for a wool Berber rug?

Vacuum regularly without a rotating brush to preserve the pile. If there is a stain, blot it straight away with a dry cloth, without rubbing. For a deep clean, entrust it to a professional rug cleaner.

Where does this rug come from?

It is hand-knotted in Morocco, in mostly sheep’s wool on a wool and cotton base, following the craft of Berber rugs.
