Rugs 80 × 150 cm

Not really, in a standard living room: this size is too small to anchor the furniture properly. The minimum we recommend for a living room is 160×230 cm, ideally 200×300 cm. One exception: in a very small studio or a spare room, an 80×150 can work in front of a compact 2-seater sofa. Otherwise, keep it as a targeted accent (reading corner, hallway, bedroom).

The difference is tiny (20 cm by 10 cm). In use, the two sizes are near enough equivalent. The 80×150 is the more continental European standard, the 100×160 the more Anglo-American one. Choose according to which design or style is available.

Perfect for a 140 cm bed (standard double), laid across the foot of the bed (at right angles to it). For a 160 cm queen bed, move up to 120×170 cm for better visual balance. For a 180 cm king bed, 160×230 cm as a minimum. An alternative layout: two 80×150 rugs, one on each side of the bed, which looks very elegant in an adult bedroom.
