What length should I order for my Mirador stair runner?

This Mirador runner is made to measure: you choose the width, then the exact length you need (in 10 cm steps), and the rug is cut to your dimensions with finished hems at both ends. To work out the length, add the depth and the height of one step, multiply by your number of steps, then round up to the next size. For a turning or spiral staircase, measure step by step.

How is this Mirador stair runner fitted, and can I do it myself?

It can be fixed either with adhesive, for a permanent and solid installation, or with stair rods or staples, which hold it without glue and can be taken up again, depending on your substrate (wood, vinyl and so on). On a straight staircase, fitting is straightforward and well within DIY reach. For a turning or spiral staircase, or simply for complete peace of mind, a flooring fitter can do it for you. Do check the width of your steps before ordering.
